New Clients (Kids)
No - unfortunately, we are not currently offering free trials for new Kids.
We do however have a one-week introduction offer of unlimited classes.
Please note - trial weeks are only available for Sydney Residents.
Our intro offer (kids) is 1 full week of unlimited classes.
It is not just reserved for new kids. If your child has prior Jiu-Jitsu experience, you are welcome to purchase the offer.
It includes uniform rental. However, if you have your own uniform, you are welcome to use it.

Come to the allocated class time!
Please try and bring your child in 10-15 minutes early so that we can size them up with a uniform and meet the coaches.
We take kids from 3 years of age onwards.
Our penguin's class ranges from kids between 3-6 years old
Our Kids class ranges from ages between 7 - 13 years of age.
Teens are usually placed into adult classes.
Please visit our timetable page above for real time updates on our kids classes.
6 Days a week. Every afternoon on weekdays between 4:00PM -5:30PM depending on the age/experience of the child.
Every saturday between 9:00AM - 10:30AM
No! We are very relaxed with our uniform policy.
Please feel free to bring whatever Brazilian jiu-jitsu uniform you have.
If you do not have a uniform and have purchased an introduction offer, a clean uniform will be provided free of charge before each session.
Bring a comfortable t-shirt and undies to wear underneath the uniform.
Please ensure your child's uniform/clothes are neat, clean and do not have any tears or holes in them.
Please also ensure feet and hands are clean and that fingernails and toenails are trimmed.

We have over 15 years combined experience teaching children.
All coaches are certified in first aid with CPR checks.
All coaches are background checked and have a valid Working with children check verified by Service NSW.
Grappling at Academy 411 does involve a sparring portion of the class for your child. We do our very best to ensure children are matched up in appropriate age, size and skill level.

Depending on their condition, children can still often train with the approval of a doctor.
Example: Please provide an asthma management plan to the front desk, if your child suffer from Asthma.
